Hypnosis is an ancient therapy that can make Life Changes quickly.
Hypnosis, also known as hypnotherapy, uses the power of your imagination and mental imagery to induce a “trance-like state” resulting in increased focus. It’s often described as a calm and relaxed feeling, and is a little bit like meditation, but with a purpose.
Hypnosis can help you gain control over anxiety, Stress, pain and most addictive behaviours. It is important to know that although, while in a hypnosis trace you are more open to suggestions, thee client always remains in control.
During our workshops our facilitators will include a short hypnosis session. This is to embed into the unconscious the content taught during the workshop. Why do we do this?
When you’re in a receptive state, such as light trance, your Unconscious Mind is more open to suggestion and, without the interference of the conscious mind, will accept these suggestions easily and permanently. The hypnosis will help you visualize positive mental images of yourself to assist with the accomplishment of goals.
Private Hypnosis sessions can be organised during the Retreat for some issues such as phobias or fears. These are optional and not included in your Retreat package.
Your facilitator may, if asked, suggest other more advanced hypnotherapy sessions to address issues such as reducing weight, quit smoking, overcoming anxiety or depression or to enhance confidence or specific skills such as public speaking. Generally, these cannot be conducted during the Retreat but can be arranged for a later date.
